Free MATLAB License
Getting Started
Follow these steps to access your free MATLAB license:
- Visit the UofT MATLAB Portal
- Look for the “GET MATLAB and Simulink” card and click “Sign in to get started”
- Click on “Create one” to set up your account
- You’ll be redirected to the WebLogin IDPZ screen
- Enter your UTORid and password
- Complete any two-factor authentication if required
Downloading MATLAB
Once your account is set up:
- On your profile page, locate the MATLAB (Individual) row with Academic use
- Click the downward-pointing arrow in this row
- Choose your preferred installation method:
- Click the blue button to download the latest MATLAB version
- Use the “Select Release” dropdown to choose a specific version
